What LicenseCrew is

LicenseCrew is a license-watch service. We read license records that Texas already publishes — through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) — and tell you when something on your crew changes.

We don't issue licenses and we don't work for the state. We mirror the state's own records so you hear about a change before it becomes a problem on a job site.

Your account

You sign in with just your email — no password to remember or lose. Whoever creates the account is responsible for what happens under it, including the technician names, license numbers, and other details you or your teammates add.

Keep access to your email locked down; that's what protects your LicenseCrew account.

What we promise — and what we don't

Every night, we check your crew's licenses against TDLR and TSBPE's own records and show you when we last verified each one. If a state system won't respond, we say so plainly — a failed check shows up as "couldn't verify," never as "expired." We only mark something expired, suspended, or changed when the state's own data says so.

LicenseCrew is not the State of Texas, and nothing here is legal advice. Before making a hiring, firing, or job-assignment decision based on a license status, confirm it directly with TDLR or TSBPE — treat LicenseCrew as an early warning system, not the final word.

Plans & billing

Free plans track up to 2 credentials, no card required. Core is $49/month for up to 10 technicians; Team is $99/month for up to 30. Cancel anytime from your billing page — no contracts, no cancellation fees.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Acceptable use

Use LicenseCrew to track your own crew. Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute the license data we show you, and don't hammer our lookup tools with automated requests. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Termination

You can close your account anytime by emailing support@licensecrew.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service — if we do, we'll tell you why.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as LicenseCrew grows. If we make a material change, we'll post the new effective date on this page and, where practical, email account owners directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
